We are looking for reinforcement in the area of accounts receivable for our finance team in Berlin. In a dynamic, multinational environment, you will be responsible in this position for processing invoicing, payment reconciliation, and financial reporting for several international business units. Ideal for this is practical experience with the ERP system NetSuite as well as the ability to work seamlessly with global teams in English.

Responsibilities

Invoicing and Invoice Management: Creation, review, and management of customer invoices and credit notes across various ERP systems in strict compliance with internal company policies and international regulations.

Collections and Dunning: Creation, execution, and analysis of collection runs, payment batches (remesados de cobro), and dunning procedures to accelerate cash flow and minimize overdue receivables.

Payment Reconciliation and Relationships with Payment Service Providers: Perform accurate reconciliation of incoming payments against outstanding receivables, resolve transaction discrepancies, and maintain direct contact with payment service providers.

Cross-border and Multi-currency Transactions: Manage accounting processes for several international subsidiaries, navigating seamlessly within a multi-currency and multi-jurisdictional financial environment.

Financial Reporting and Period Closing: Active participation in monthly and annual closing cycles through the creation, analysis, and presentation of reports on receivables, evaluations, and aging summaries to support management decisions.

Accounting Projects and Support: Support and participation in specialized cross-functional projects to optimize and further develop the entire accounting environment.

Qualifications

Background and Experience: A commercial vocational training or professional experience in the field of accounting, preferably acquired in a multinational company (MNC) or in a shared services environment managing cross-border portfolios.

Core Competencies in Accounting and Payment Transactions: Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles, international billing practices, and credit management, combined with practical experience in handling various payment methods (e.g., SEPA, credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay).

ERP and Analytical Tools: Practical knowledge in using Tier-1 ERP systems – experience with NetSuite is highly desirable, SAP or InforLN are an advantage – as well as strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) for data analysis and reporting.

Working Style and Technical Interest: Strong analytical skills, high affinity for numbers, as well as the ability to work independently and in a structured manner in a dynamic environment. A proactive interest in AI and automation tools (e.g., Claude, n8n) is a big plus.

Language Skills: Professional English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory as the primary working language; knowledge of another European language is a significant advantage. German skills at least at B2 level, written and spoken.
