Investment Company of the People’s Republic of China (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of the People’s Bank of China . The company manages a part of foreign exchange reserve within the scope authorized by the People’s Bank of China, undertakes and transacts various kinds of investment businesses.

Job Description:

  • Collect, process and reconcile daily holdings, transactions, valuations, cash flows and market data; investigate discrepancies and missing information.
  • Calculate and validate portfolio and fund returns under established methodologies; assist with periodic performance, benchmark and attribution reports.
  • Work with investment, accounting and risk teams to resolve data and reporting issues; maintain calculation records, procedures and reconciliation evidence.
  • Analyse basic return drivers for fixed income, foreign exchange and FX derivatives, and help explain unusual performance movements.
  • Manage and optimize collateral valuation and operations.
  • In charge with company level ESG evaluations, gather, analyze, and manage ESG data for annual reporting and management communications.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT department on system migration, upgrades and technological transformation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in investment performance, fund operations, investment accounting, investment risk or a related area preferred.
  • Understanding of portfolio returns, cash flows and benchmark comparisons, with foundational knowledge of financial instrument.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to process and reconcile large datasets; SQL & Python experience is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to accuracy, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to meet daily and periodic reporting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders at our Beijing headquarters.
  • Team mindset with strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to proactively engage in work activities.
