Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Chemical/ Process Technician to join their dynamic team:

Your tasks

Job Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment and perform batch processing, chemical mixing, solution preparation, filtration, and material transfers according to SOPs.
• Handle, label, and store chemicals safely in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor process parameters, conduct routine equipment checks, perform basic troubleshooting, and report abnormalities.
• Support equipment maintenance, repairs, servicing, plant shutdowns, and start-up activities.
• Maintain accurate production logs, batch records, checklists, and records of chemical usage and equipment status.
• Report incidents, equipment faults, process deviations, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Comply with safety requirements, risk assessments, and chemical handling procedures while maintaining good housekeeping and 5S standards.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• At least NITEC in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in technical instructions and analytical procedures would be an advantage.
• Willing to perform hands-on plant operations duties.
