Location: Gliwice Work mode: on-site, with occasional trips to clients Job Description We are looking for a person who will be responsible for the development, commissioning, and validation of automation and safety systems in AGV/AMR mobile robots. The position combines industrial automation, machine safety, and working on your own product — from risk analysis and design, through implementation, to testing and deployment. Responsibilities designing and developing automation and safety systems for AGV/AMR robots, defining safety functions and participating in risk analyses, selecting architecture and safety components, programming and configuring PLC controllers and safety devices, integrating sensors, drives, scanners, and other system elements, preparing and performing tests and validation of safety functions, analyzing problems occurring during testing and operation, cooperation with mechanics, electronics, and software teams, participating in commissioning and deployments at client sites, preparing technical documentation. Daily tasks

  • designing and developing automation and safety systems for AGV/AMR robots,
  • defining safety functions and participating in risk analyses,
  • selecting architecture and safety components,

  • preparing and performing tests and validation of safety functions,

Requirements

Requirements technical education in the field of automation, robotics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related fields, practical experience in industrial automation, knowledge of PLC controllers and automation devices, experience with machine safety systems, knowledge of risk assessment principles and safety function design, knowledge of PL/SIL issues and basic safety functions of drives, knowledge of standards related to machine safety, in particular ISO 12100 and ISO 13849, ability to analyze electrical diagrams and technical documentation, experience in testing and validation of safety functions, ability to independently diagnose technical problems, knowledge of English allowing for work with technical documentation, driving license cat. B. Nice to have experience with AGV/AMR robots, knowledge of ISO 3691-4, experience with Safety PLC, safety scanners, safe drives, and safety encoders, knowledge of Siemens, Pilz, SICK, Beckhoff, or similar systems, experience with industrial communication
