Sustainability and Environmental Manager (m/f/d) Full-time or Part-time

We are looking for, as soon as possible:

Sustainability and Environmental Manager (w/m/d) Full-time or Part-time

for at least 30 hours per week

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training or a degree related to environment, sustainability, quality, or technology
• Initial professional experience in the ESG/CSRD environment, sustainability, or environmental management
• Further training as an environmental officer ISO 14001 desirable
• Experience in CO2 accounting and in the development of key performance indicator systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of CAQ-BabtecQ is an advantage:
• Proficient use of MS Office
• Analytical and conceptual strength, combined with an independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Confident in dealing with different stakeholders and pragmatic in implementation
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken

Your tasks:

• Design and establishment of a sustainability management system, including annual sustainability reporting in accordance with CSRD
• Further development of the environmental management system according to ISO 14001 at the Passau location as well as across locations and monitoring its effectiveness
• Driving the further development of the sustainability strategy within the corporate group
• Monitoring regulatory and legal developments as well as customer requirements and deriving concrete measures
• Collection, analysis, and interpretation of relevant key figures as well as acting as the central contact person for environmental and sustainability topics
• Initiation, coordination, and support of internal and external audits as well as certifications
• Support of customers regarding regulatory requirements, particularly regarding REACH, RoHS, Material Compliance, Carbon Footprint, as well as emissions (Scope 1–3)
• Close cooperation with the specialist departments and locations to ensure an integrated understanding of sustainability and the environment
• Taking on additional organizational tasks to ensure testing equipment monitoring at the Passau location in the CAQ system BabtecQ
