Strategic tasks

• Strategy: Further development and implementation of a group-wide data protection strategy
• System: Construction and continuous further development of the internal, decentralized data protection management system
• Consulting: Central contact person for the management and top management regarding data protection risks and requirements
• Coordination: Superior contact person for all data protection coordinators
• Overview: Ensuring data protection standards in all national subsidiaries

Operational tasks

• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with the DSGVO as well as national data protection laws
• Steering: Coordination and leadership of the internal data protection coordinators
• DPIA: Support with data protection impact assessments
• Audits: Accompanying internal and external audits as well as assessments
• Directory: Maintenance and further development of processing directories
• DSAR: Processing and coordination of data subject requests
• Incidents: Management of data protection incidents including reports to supervisory authorities
• Guidelines: Maintenance and further development of guidelines, processes, and templates

Governance & Compliance

• Reporting: Construction and monitoring of group-wide reporting to C-Level
• Deletion concepts: Ensuring compliance with retention and deletion concepts
• Collaboration: Close cooperation with Legal, IT-Security, Compliance, and HR
• Audits: Preparation and accompaniment of external audits and authority contacts

Training & Awareness

• Training: Development and implementation of group-wide data protection training

Your profile:

Professional competencies

• Studies: Completed studies in law, economics, computer science, or comparable
• Experience: Several years of professional experience in data protection, ideally in an international corporate environment
• Legal knowledge: Sound knowledge of the DSGVO and European data protection law
• Governance: Proven experience in building data protection processes and governance structures

Personal competencies

• Strategy: Strategic thinking skills combined with entrepreneurial understanding
• Communication: Strong skills in stakeholder management at all levels
• Self-responsibility: High level of independence and assertiveness in an international environment
• Internationality: Intercultural competence and business fluent English skills
