We are looking for a Microbiology Laboratory Head, who will be responsible for coordinating analytical activities in accordance with current Mexican regulations and high quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Engineering in QBP, Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (Degree required)
  • 4 or more years of previous experience performing analyses for the Microbiology area.
  • Extensive management and knowledge of NOM 17025
  • Experience coordinating personnel
  • Intermediate English and Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate analytical activities
  • Ensure compliance in result reports
  • Verify and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the analytical process
  • Follow-up on laboratory accreditation processes before EMA
  • Traceability, Uncertainty, and Proficiency Testing policies of EMA
  • Performance Evaluations of Analysts
  • Analysis of samples derived from frozen products, flours, fish oils, among others.
