. Job Purpose The Auxiliary Operations Officer (AOO) provides operational and administrative support to current Operations to ensure the safe, efficient and uninterrupted delivery of outdoor education programmes. The AOO supports the Operations Room, Medical Centre, instructors and other operational teams, and is expected to respond flexibly to operational needs while maintaining a high standard of customer service and student welfare.

  1. Key Responsibilities

Student Operations Support Receive participants arriving at and departing from camp site.

Support student registration and attendance verification using internal systems.

Escort participants safely between the jetty, Medical Centre, accommodation and activity areas.

Support Out-of-Course (OOC) participants throughout their stay.

Monitor participant welfare and escalate concerns appropriately.

Coordinate with instructors, nurses and Operations personnel.

Operational Support Provide operational and administrative support to current Operations.

Support the Operations Room during operational requirements.

Answer and monitor the Operations Room communication line when required.

Relay operational information accurately to relevant personnel.

Conduct PA announcements during lightning alerts or emergencies.

Perform Fire Warden duties when activated.

Carry out other operational support duties as assigned.

Logistics Support Retrieve and return student belongings and camp-issued equipment.

Collect and return camp keys.

Support inventory checks and documentation.

Assist with transport coordination where required.

Education & Qualifications Minimum qualification: ITE Nitec or Higher Nitec. SNB-Registered Enrolled Nurses. Former frontline medics/private medics also welcome to apply. First Aid and CPR/AED certification is an advantage (training may be provided). Experience Experience in operations, customer service, outdoor education, hospitality, healthcare support or uniformed services is an advantage.
