JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the restaurant manager in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling all segments of the restaurant business during their shift
  • Providing information to guests about the food and drink offer, ingredients and preparation methods, and presentation of wines from the wine list in accordance with the requirements and wishes of the guests
  • Taking care of the greeting and seating of guests in the restaurant
  • Participating in the creation of the working schedule for restaurant staff
  • Taking care of the tidiness and cleanliness of the facility and the associated inventory during their shift
  • Controlling and analyzing the quality of service in the restaurant during their shift with the aim of providing a top-tier experience and top-tier service to Hotel guests
  • Taking orders and serving food, as needed
  • Controlling the issuance and sale of dishes
  • Controlling the application of norms and the achievement of margin
  • Organization of work and supervision of the work of waiters during their shift
  • Controlling the behavior, tidiness, and groomed appearance and neatness of the work attire of restaurant staff during their shift
  • Coordination of cooperation between restaurant staff and the kitchen
  • Spreading and promoting a positive image of the Hotel
  • Proposing improvements within their scope of work with the aim of providing a top-tier experience and top-tier service to Hotel guests and optimizing processes and costs

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

  • SSS - hospitality or hotel management direction is desirable
  • minimum 2 years of experience in the same or similar positions and in people management
  • active knowledge of at least two foreign languages, one of which must be English
  • good knowledge and use of MS Office packages
  • Completed sommelier course or experience is desirable
  • knowledge of HACCP standards, legal regulations, and the basics of financial business
  • developed team management, delegation, and conflict resolution skills
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • strong guest orientation and understanding of top-tier service culture
