International Business Professional - Purchasing and Imports

A company in the furniture and decoration sector is looking to incorporate an International Business, Foreign Trade, or related degree Professional into its team, with experience in international purchasing and imports, especially from China, India, and Turkey. We are looking for a person with the capacity to manage international suppliers, negotiate commercial conditions, and perform integral follow-up of the acquisition and import process of furniture, decoration items, and home products.

Required Profile

• Professional in International Business, Foreign Trade, or related careers.
• Experience in international purchasing and import processes, preferably in the furniture, decoration, and home products sector.
• Experience in negotiation, selection, and management of international suppliers.
• Knowledge of import processes, documentation, costs, tariffs, and other aspects related to foreign trade.
• Experience performing follow-up on orders, shipments, delivery times, and international logistics processes.
• Capacity to negotiate and maintain effective communication with suppliers from China, India, and Turkey.
• Ability to analyze costs and purchasing conditions, seeking optimization opportunities.
• Organized, responsible, proactive, negotiating person oriented towards achieving objectives.
• Capacity to perform detailed follow-up on each operation and guarantee compliance with established times.

Working Conditions

• Work location: Bogotá
• Modality: On-site
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 10:00 a. m. to 7:00 p. m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m.
• Salary: $2.200.000
