medical office assistant

Exciting opportunity for a medical office assistant in an ophthalmology office in downtown Kamloops BC. We are looking for an energetic, friendly, motivated person who can work in a fast-paced environment, to fill a position for a medical office assistant. Experience in customer service positions including in a non medical field, would be looked upon favourably.

The job would be a combination of admin type tasks such as greeting patients, faxes, booking appointments, as well as technician work (checking patients' vision, photos and testing, etc), as well as directly assisting a doctor in the clinic, and we would be excited to to train our new candidate.

Competitive salary commiserate with experience, approx $20-23 per hour. Available for part time (Monday-Friday), approx 15-30 hours a week , depending on the clinic needs each week.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
