Naval Engineer (M/F)

Job Description:

Interaction Expert Naval is recruiting for its client, a company specializing in high-performance hydraulic and control solutions for the boating industry, a Generalist Engineer (M/F).

Reporting to the Design Office, you are the guarantor of the design and integration of complex hydraulic and automated systems. Your role goes beyond simple component design: you design the overall system architecture to meet the performance and reliability requirements of customers.

Your responsibilities: Analysis & Architecture: Study customer specifications and define system architecture (sizing of hydraulic power units, motors, manifolds, integration of sensors and automation) Technical Design: Create detailed hydraulic diagrams and technical definition files Supplier Management: Write technical specifications for tenders and ensure technical follow-up with our strategic partners Validation and Commissioning: You are responsible for the follow-up or direct conduct of system validation tests in the factory. You will also be required to participate in their installation and commissioning at customer sites (occasional travel in France or abroad) Innovation & R&D: Actively participate in the group's innovation projects to integrate new technologies (composite materials, hybridization, digitalization) Workshop Support: Develop assembly and test procedures, and support technicians during commissioning and validation phases.

Permanent contract (CDI) to start from September 2026, based in Canet en Roussillon

Remuneration to be negotiated according to experience level, starting from 40KE gross

Profile Description:

You are an engineer passionate about technology, with a 'system' approach (ability to understand the interaction between mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics). Engineering Degree (Master's level) with a specialization in Systems Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, or Hydraulics.

Experience: You have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, ideally in a demanding industrial environment (marine, aeronautics, defense, or special purpose machinery). Technical Skills: Good knowledge of CAD software Ideally, knowledge of hydraulic components and circuits Ability to manage multi-technical projects in parallel Mastery of sailing is a real plus Languages: Technical English is indispensable (frequent written and oral exchanges with international customers and partners).
