Naval Drafter (M/F)

Job Description:

Interaction Expert Naval is recruiting for its client, specialized in naval architecture and engineering, a Senior Naval Drafter-Designer (M/F) to strengthen its design teams in naval architecture.

Main Missions:

You wish to participate in complex and innovative ship projects in various fields: passenger, fishing, military, offshore, etc.

You have the desire to get involved within a close-knit team of about fifteen people, consisting of experienced architects, technicians, and engineers, under the responsibility of a project manager.

Your main missions are as follows: carry out various studies in naval architecture: arrangements, structure, piping, coordination, calculation notes, etc., from the preliminary design stage to delivery; ensure the consistency of the tasks entrusted to you and ensure their follow-up, under the responsibility of a project manager.

Occasional international travel to clients is to be expected.

Permanent contract (CDI) to be filled as soon as possible,

Remuneration to be negotiated according to experience level.

Profile Description:

With a Bac+2 or Bac+3 degree, such as a senior technician or professional license, with a specialization in the field of naval construction. You benefit from significant and successful experience in a naval design office, an engineering company, or a shipyard, which has allowed you to design professional vessels. Your multidisciplinary skills allow you to address all the issues inherent in ship design. You have solid knowledge of naval structure design and drawing, and if possible, in onboard network coordination. You are familiar with classification society regulations, particularly for the design and construction of professional vessels. You master 2D and 3D naval design and drawing software, including notably: Autocad, Rhino, ShipConstructor, Cadmatic. Technical English: reading, writing.
