Project Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

Interaction Expert Naval is recruiting for its client, a shipowner, a Project Manager for alternative propulsion (M/F), as part of the development and deployment of solutions related to sustainable fuels.

Reporting to the Technical Department, you will manage technical projects in MOA/MOE, from the study phases to operational implementation, within a demanding regulatory, R&D, and maritime environment.

Main Missions:

I Technical Project Management (MOA / MOE)

• Audit fleet installations and identify areas for improvement or development
• Conduct technical and financial feasibility studies (APS / APD)
• Draft technical and functional specifications in connection with internal teams
• Define and manage projects: planning, budget, resources, specifications, and supplier consultations
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and ensure monitoring of progress, risks, costs, and deadlines
• Guarantee regulatory compliance and ensure the link with authorities and classification societies
• Ensure active technological monitoring.

II Fleet Operational Support

• Support the integration of new systems into the GMAO
• Ensure monitoring of project warranties in connection with fleet teams

III Coordination and Training

• Lead project meetings and manage service providers.
• Design and update training materials related to sustainable fuels.
• Train employees on the use and storage of these fuels.

Permanent contract (CDI) to be filled as soon as possible, based in Marseille

Remuneration to be negotiated according to experience level, starting from 65KE gross

Profile Description:

Education type ENSAM, ENSM, SeaTech, ENSTA, INSA or equivalent

Experience 5 years minimum experience in the maritime sector, depending on profile:

• Project Management Engineer, with at least 2 years on LNG propulsion vessels
• Onboard Marine Engineer Officer, with significant experience on LNG vessels or an appetite for alternative propulsion
• Superintendent with confirmed experience on LNG vessels
• General naval technical skills (mechanics, electricity, ship structure)
• Mastery of regulatory, technical, and operational aspects related to the use and storage of gaseous fuels on board ships (ISM, IGF, SGMF, Class regulations, SOLAS, MARPOL, MMF)
• Good knowledge of the maritime environment and vessels
• Navigation experience appreciated
• Mastery of professional tools: GMAO and office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluent English
