Senior IT Support Engineer – South-West London

My client, a growing IT services business based in South-West London, is looking to recruit a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their expanding team.

You'll thrive in a flat, collaborative team environment where everyone rolls up their sleeves, takes responsibility and gets involved. You won't be someone who waits to be told what to do; you'll be comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and seeing problems through to resolution.

Your tasks

This is a hands-on, technical role suited to an experienced engineer who can hit the ground running, take ownership of complex escalations and build strong relationships with clients. You'll play a key role in resolving challenging technical issues, delivering infrastructure projects and ensuring clients receive an excellent level of support.

As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will

• Take ownership of complex escalated support issues across multiple client environments.
• Work directly with clients to diagnose problems, implement solutions and provide expert technical guidance.
• Plan and deliver Microsoft 365 migrations and wider infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects end-to-end, from initial scoping and planning through to implementation and successful delivery.
• Investigate security incidents and potential cyberattacks, identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Provide hands-on support across Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, networking, endpoints and wider IT infrastructure.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot servers, switches and firewalls.
• Work proactively and independently, using your technical expertise and initiative to resolve issues effectively.

Requirements

You'll be an experienced IT engineer with strong technical troubleshooting skills, a practical approach to problem-solving and the confidence to manage client-facing situations.
