Building Operations Engineer

IKEA Industry employs approximately 15,000 co-workers in more than 30 manufacturing units, across 18 sites, in 7 countries. Our scope of activities includes sawmill operations, furniture board manufacturing, furniture component production, and finished furniture manufacturing. Our Sopron unit is the main supplier of wood-based kitchen fronts, which can be found in IKEA stores worldwide. As specialists in high-quality hardwood and veneered components, the plant develops and manufactures not only kitchen elements but also various storage systems, as well as dining and living room tables. The two plants located at the site employ more than 850 co-workers.

Planning and monitoring the maintenance of machines and equipment belonging to the building operations area Analyzing machine failures/repetitions and finding solutions Active support of the operational maintenance team Maintaining relationships with peer departments and contracted partners Developing development proposals and participating in their implementation Supporting related investments Monitoring and developing energy management systems

Higher technical education Excellent analytical skills, analytical mindset Independent, responsible work performance High degree of reliability, compliance with regulations Communicative English language skills It is an advantage: Experience in the following areas: maintenance, building operations, and energetics Proficiency in working in an industrial environment
