Production Technician (Vision systems technology)
We are the largest factory in Poland, producing furniture from solid pine wood. In Wielbark, one of the largest sawmills in Poland operates, 100% sawing wood originating from the forests of north-eastern Poland. Our company also includes a glued panel factory and a furniture factory. We employ over 1400 people.
If you want to: Lead projects for the implementation, development, and supervision of vision systems
in a production environment Analyze the inspection results of vision systems and propose improvements Monitor innovations in the field of vision inspection regarding the possibility of their
implementation in the timber industry Collaborate with hardware and software suppliers based on image analysis
and artificial intelligence used to recognize wood defects Exchange knowledge and experience with team members to ensure the continuity of task and process execution Participate in interesting projects in the field of production automation supported by vision systems for wood processing processes Collaborate with other teams of IKEA Industry branches in Poland and abroad, in terms of implementing joint projects, and the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices.
Our expectations: Higher education (technical, IT, graphics, or other, e.g., related to computer image analysis) Readiness to participate in project management Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written Experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company – welcome Very good knowledge of computer programs (MS Office, Autocad) Ability to work with data, analyze, and present the conclusions derived from it Teamwork skills Building relationships with production colleagues, enabling effective project management
