About the job and mission of the role

You will be part of the International Engineering team, serving as the manager for the Argentina & New Local Markets area, responsible for ensuring the technology strategy for the operation in Argentina and the entry into new countries, cascading this strategy to other leaders and ensuring the area's results.

In your day-to-day, you will:

Lead and develop the software engineering team in Argentina, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous growth.

Cascade the international expansion strategy into concrete goals and initiatives, ensuring alignment between technical teams, local business, and partners.

Structure the model for entering new markets: what the global platform already solves, what is specific to each country, and how local integrations (payment methods, KYC, third-party core banking) fit in.

Conduct technical assessments of new markets, anticipating regulatory, integration, and data segregation requirements by geography.

Support other leadership in the area in cascading their strategies, acting as a partner in achieving results.

Manage stakeholders with clarity and influence, facilitating communication between technical teams, business, partners, and local regulators.

What we are looking for (Editable Field)

Mandatory:

Proven experience in managing software development teams.

Experience with people development, including feedback, development plans, and performance management.

Experience in the financial market, preferably in operations involving more than one country.

Experience with local banking and payment integrations (rails, KYC, third-party core banking).

Practical experience with software development.

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

Advanced English.

Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools.

Desirable:

Advanced Spanish

Participation in the launch of a financial product in a new country.

Knowledge of the Argentine payments market.
