About the job and mission of the role
You will be part of our TI Crédito PJ team and will work directly on software solutions for credit products for the PJ audience.
In your day-to-day, you will:
Define and evolve the reference architecture (applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure), ensuring alignment with security, scalability, performance, and compliance requirements;
Act "hands-on" in critical projects: design solutions, prototype, code key components, review pull requests, and unblock technical impediments;
Establish engineering standards (clean architecture, domain-driven design, APIs, events) and guide squads in adoption through guides, examples, and coaching;
Conduct technical and functional discoveries with stakeholders, translating business objectives into roadmaps and pragmatic architecture decisions (build vs. buy, patterns, technologies);
Establish engineering standards (clean architecture, domain-driven design, APIs, events) and guide squads in adoption through guides, examples, and coaching;
Deploy and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and code quality, accelerating time-to-market with security and traceability;
Orchestrate integrations between legacy systems and cloud-native platforms, defining contracts, observability, and migration strategies without interruptions;
Implement and monitor SRE/Observability practices (logs, metrics, tracing, SLOs/SLIs), preventing incidents and improving MTTR in production;
Perform performance and cost analysis (FinOps), promoting architecture and infrastructure optimizations to maximize efficiency;
Ensure non-functional requirements and controls (security, privacy, audit, resilience, SOX when applicable), supporting audits and technical evidence;
Lead action plans for risks and non-compliance, monitoring progress metrics and ensuring that business outcomes are achieved;
Facilitate technical decisions between areas (product, security, data, operations) and align dependencies to accelerate critical deliveries;
Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders, strengthening team autonomy and multiplying best practices at scale.
What we are looking for
Mandatory:
Solid experience in software/solutions architecture, with at least 8 years in engineering and 3+ years leading architecture in high-criticality projects;
Mastery of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including designing scalable, resilient, and secure solutions. Experience with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures is essential;
Strong skill in at least one back-end language (for example, Java, C#, Python, or Node.js). Must know design patterns, clean architecture, and engineering best practices;
Robust experience with CI/CD, automated tests, and quality pipelines. It is mandatory to act in build and release automation and in trunk-based development practices when applicable;
Experience with observability and SRE (logs, metrics, tracing, SLI/SLO, and incident response). Must know how to instrument services and improve reliability and MTTR in production;
Advanced knowledge of security and compliance, including privacy and controls (LGPD and, when applicable, SOX). Needs to ensure non-functional requirements, audit, and technical evidence;
Solid foundation in relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance tuning. Experience with integrations between legacy systems and cloud-native platforms is essential;
Capacity to conduct pragmatic architectural decisions (build vs. buy, patterns, and trade-offs) with a strong orientation toward business results. Must have excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
Higher education in Computing, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related areas. Advanced English for collaboration with global teams and partners;
"Hands-on" profile, with direct involvement in coding, PR reviews, and solution prototyping. Must have a technical leadership and mentoring posture to multiply best practices within the teams.
Practical proficiency with containers and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes), as well as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent). The person needs to be able to design and also implement.
