About the job and mission of the role

You will act in the Finance Directorate as a Financial Partner for the Crédito Varejo PF vertical, supporting decisions and ensuring sustainable business growth always with a Financial bias. Your role aims to ensure business growth through predictive financial modeling of the P&L, active search for variations to ensure the correct accounting of P&L lines, and continuous improvement in processes to assist in data-driven decision-making and financial best practices.

In your day-to-day, you will:

Act as a financial partner for the Crédito Varejo PF unit, being responsible for results analysis and supporting product decision-making.

Bring the Finance vision to discussions, meetings, and strategic studies, applying financial theory in practice and considering product specificities.

Control P&L in Budget, Actual, and Forecast scenarios — covering Revenue, Expenses, Margin, and EBT.

Analyze deviations with YoY, MoM, and Actual vs. Budget comparisons.

Financial modeling for predictive projections (trend, closing, and forecast), through the development of automations via RPA for optimization of data consumption and productivity gains, and through the creation of data visualizations (Dataviz).

What we are looking for

Mandatory:

Degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, or related fields.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, Financial Consulting, or Investment Banking.

Financial modeling in Excel (scenarios, sensitivities, Pivot) and construction/maintenance of managerial P&L with decomposition into operational drivers (TPV, take rate, CAC, LTV, NII, CoF, CoR).

Familiarity with SQL for autonomous data extraction.

Experience in variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast) with root-cause and materiality identification.

Construction of Budget and Forecast with top-down and bottom-up logic.

Knowledge of managerial and financial accounting applied to banking (P&L, Balance Sheet, basic regulatory metrics) and unit economics in financial products (margin per customer, payback, contribution per line).

Understanding of key KPIs such as NII, funding cost, cost of risk, and their impact on the P&L.

Intermediate English for reading technical documentation and constructing materials.

Mastery of PowerPoint to synthesize analyses into messages that translate the business strategy.

Desirable:

Knowledge and/or interest in programming languages for automation of data pipelines, reconciliation, and ETL.

Power BI or Tableau for constructing executive dashboards.

Applied use and/or interest in AI in FP&A workflows.

Previous experience in retail credit products and familiarity with the P&L lines that involve them.

Understanding of how variable expenses and costs relate to the product and their impact on the P&L.

MBA in Finance or certifications (CFA, CPA).

Experience in Banks, Fintechs, or Digital Banks.
