Your tasks

About the job and mission of the role You will be part of the Offensive Security team, working on the Application Security (AppSec) front. Your mission will be to support the identification and prevention of security vulnerabilities throughout the software development lifecycle, assisting technology teams in building more secure applications and contributing to the evolution of the organization's secure development culture.

In your day-to-day, you will

• Support the execution and monitoring of security analyses in applications and APIs;
• Operate and monitor SAST, SCA, and other AppSec solutions;
• Assist in the identification, registration, and monitoring of vulnerabilities alongside development teams;
• Participate in threat modeling activities and security reviews;
• Support Security Champions initiatives and the dissemination of secure development culture;
• Contribute to automations/AI and security integrations in CI/CD pipelines;
• Perform technical analyses using references such as OWASP Top 10, CWE, and CAPEC.
• Support the preparation of documentation, reports, and area indicators.
• Work together with Development, Architecture, and other Information Security teams.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Knowledge of software development, APIs, and Web applications;
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages;
• Basic knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and application security fundamentals;
• Notions of Git, HTTP/HTTPS, authentication, and authorization;
• Interest in Application Security and Secure Development;
• Knowledge of AI models applied to vulnerability detection;
• Understanding of applied security fundamentals: confidentiality, integrity, availability, and legality.
• Intermediate English

Desirable

• Knowledge of SAST, DAST, and SCA;
• Experience or knowledge in market tools: Burp Suite, Veracode, Snyk, SonarQube, or similar;
• Notions of CI/CD, DevSecOps, Cloud, and API security;
• Knowledge of Docker/containers;
• Experience in any phase of the software lifecycle in product teams;
• Courses or certifications related to AppSec.
