Engineering Supervisor – Semiconductor Test / Silicon Photonics Location: Singapore Role Overview Lead a team of engineers and technicians supporting wafer probing (CP) and automated optical inspection (AOI) for silicon photonics products. Ensure stable test operations, improve yield and process performance, and support new product transfers to the Singapore site. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily CP and AOI engineering activities to support production quality, yield and delivery targets. Monitor process performance, investigate abnormal test results and resolve production-related engineering issues. Optimise wafer probe processes and coordinate probe card qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain and improve AOI inspection recipes to enhance defect detection accuracy and reduce false calls. Analyse yield and defect trends, identify root causes and implement corrective actions and process improvements. Support new product transfers, qualification and release into production. Work with Equipment Engineers on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment qualification and acceptance testing. Improve equipment utilisation and operational efficiency through process and automation initiatives. Lead, coach and train engineers and technicians; support manpower planning and performance reviews. Maintain engineering documentation and coordinate with Production, Equipment and Quality teams. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Physics, Photonics or a related discipline. At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer testing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity. Relevant experience in CP, AOI, yield engineering or test engineering. Strong understanding of wafer probing, AOI systems, yield analysis, statistical process control (SPC), semiconductor processes and failure analysis. Experience using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and data analysis tools such as JMP, Excel, SQL, Python or equivalent. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, team leadership and cross-functional communication skills. Preferred Experience Silicon photonics wafer manufacturing or testing. Optical or high-speed semiconductor devices, such as modulators, photodetectors, drivers or transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs). KLA or Camtek AOI systems and FormFactor or MPI wafer probers.
