Foreign Trade Specialist (Import & Export)

1. Manage the full cycle of import/export orders between Thailand and China, including inquiry, quotation, order placement, delivery confirmation, and the preparation and review of trade documents.
2. Coordinate warehousing and transportation of import/export shipments; work with freight forwarders and shipping/airlines companies; track shipment status and resolve issues promptly.
3. Handle customs clearance for imports and exports: prepare and review clearance documents and coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth and compliant clearance.
4. Serve as the daily contact with suppliers and customers in both China and Thailand, maintain relationships.
5. Follow up on payment collection and settlement, including Letters of Credit (L/C), and maintain accurate business records.
6. Familiar and comply with import/export laws and regulations of both Thailand and China, especially declaration, transportation, and compliance requirements related to hazardous chemicals.
7. Gather market information, report on industry trends and prices, optimizing sourcing and sales strategies.
8. Complete other related tasks.

Qualifications: Native Thai speaker; fluent in English (used as a working language); Chinese language skills preferred but not required. At least 2 years of experience in international trade or international logistics, with solid knowledge of the full import/export process; experience in hazardous chemicals import/export is preferred. Proficient in trade documentation, Letters of Credit, and international settlement; familiar with customs clearance procedures and regulations in Thailand and China. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
