Senior Automation Engineer

(To run Tiamo to OMNIS upgrade project)

Seniority 5–10years. Delivery engineer, not PM.

Work type Tiamoto OMNIS end to end, including feasibility tests.

Critical skill Communication with lab, QA, vendor and management.

Purpose

Deliver Metrohm Tiamo to OMNIS from feasibility and pilot through method transfer, vendor management, cutover and handover.

Duties

Own the workstream: inventory, architecture, feasibility, pilot, waves, cutover, hypercare.

• End-to-end planning and scheduling of all required deliverables
• Critical analysis of method/recipe in Tiamo and OMNIS

Run feasibility tests: connectivity, method equivalence, reporting, interfaces. Manage Metrohm on licences, method transfer, instrument limits and service scope. Write PO, change-control and validation input that QA can accept. Brief analysts on change, dual-run and equivalence. Agree downtime with the lab. Handover pack per wave: system description, job aids, open points.

Must have

• At least one lab or process-system migration delivered, not only support.
• Can explain a technical decision to anon-technical audience.
• GxP or similar: change control, data integrity.
• Hands-on at the instrument PC. Strong English.

Preferred / nice

Tiamo or OMNIS. Titration / KF. LIMS interface. Win10/11 instrument PCs. CSV awareness (Role 3 writes protocols). Vendor management.
