Job Summary
The Marketing and Relationship Manager will manage and grow client relationships and identify new business opportunities in the marine services sector, driving client satisfaction and business expansion in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve client issues promptly to maintain strong relationships and meet client needs
- Identify new business opportunities by analyzing client data and market trends to support company growth
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align client service delivery with company goals
- Prepare and deliver presentations on market trends, product updates, and business opportunities to clients and senior management
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build networks and stay informed on best practices
- Negotiate and finalize client contracts ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor client satisfaction and retention, analyze feedback, and develop strategies to improve service quality
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; maritime management, transport, or ship engineering background is advantageous
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, relationship management, or sales within marine or shipping industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel as needed
