DC "Document Controller"
Document Management Receive, register, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents (RFIs, drawings, submittals, letters).
Maintain updated records of all project documents, including: Shop Drawings
Material Submittals
RFIs / MOMs / NCRs
Transmittals & Correspondence
As-built documents and final handover packages
Filing & Archiving Ensure all documents are accurately filed (hard copy & soft copy) in accordance with the document control procedure.
Maintain logical and secure archiving systems with easy retrieval paths.
Tracking & Reporting Track the status of submitted documents (pending, approved, rejected).
Maintain logs for submissions, approvals, revisions, and re-submissions.
Notify relevant departments of approaching deadlines or outstanding documents.
Coordination Coordinate with technical, procurement, and site teams for timely document submissions.
Communicate with consultants/main contractors for document submission protocols.
Ensure document templates and formats comply with project/client standards.
A- Technical competencies required Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in document control within construction or ELV/LC projects. Familiarity with document control systems (e.g., Aconex, EDMS, or internal systems). Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel & Outlook). B- Behavioral Competencies required Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and reporting tools. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage cross-functional teams.
