Kitchen Assistant

Make A Difference Everyday We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join the team! At Holme Lodge we specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long-term neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, head/brain injury, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, speech impairment, spina bifida and hydrocephalus. What You’ll be Doing Assist in the preparation and serving of meals Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Help with inventory management and stock rotation Follow food safety and hygiene standards Support the Chef and kitchen staff as needed

What You'll Need

Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant, preferably in a care home or similar setting Strong knowledge of dietary needs and restrictions Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Great communication skills Commitment to providing high-quality service
