Logistics Coordinator

Your responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating logistics flows of chemical products, with attention to cost optimization, efficiency, product quality, and compliance with contractual agreements.
• Overseeing compliance with safety, environmental, and sustainability standards within all logistics activities, including ocean freight, rail transport, road transport, terminal activities, and storage.
• Preparing and managing shipping and transport documents.
• Managing logistics costs, invoicing, month-end closings, and reporting of quality and incident data; contributing to supplier assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Providing operational support in the management of demurrage and cost recovery.
• Collaborating with operational teams in different regions and providing support where necessary.

Your profile

• At least 5 to 10 years of experience in operations and/or logistics within the (petro)chemical sector.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms, Letters of Credit, and transport documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and excellent service delivery.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
