Process Engineer (middle)

We are looking for a chemical / mechanical engineer or similar.

Activities:

• Feasibility analysis of projects.
• Description of project scopes.
• Definition of design bases for projects.
• Surveys of the area where the project will be carried out.
• Application of client standards in equipment and facilities.
• Design of mechanical drawings, DTIs, and various arrangements in drawings and plans.
• Material volumetry.
• Specification of equipment and data sheets.
• Engineering coordination in conjunction with electrical and control scopes.
• 2D modeling.
• Delivery of engineering folders and packages.
• Preparation of As builts after construction.
• Coordination of interdisciplinary Engineering review.
• Preparation of Risk analyses.
• Review of DTIs.
• Review of Calculation Memories (Pumps, Flows, Valves, Temperatures).
• Review of material lists.
• Review and selection of process instruments.
• Ensuring specifications and timely purchase.
• Control of deliverables and support of activities in accordance with the project schedule.
• Design reviews and joint working sessions with the project team.
• Documentation of design and engineering defects.
• Ensuring compliance with Clean Design standards, food grade, QA, GMPs, and HS&E.
• Ensuring compliance with success criteria vs. the project Team Charter.
• Reviews and feedback on the general project gantt charts.
• Control of plant information and interaction.
• Communication with Operations and Construction contacts regarding project progress.
• Support in site walks for quotations.
• Quotation of materials, equipment, and services related to design/engineering.
• Technical validation in process tenders and equipment purchase.
• Support in construction for interpretation of drawings and field solutions.
• Support in validation of special equipment (occasionally off-site).
• Participation in monthly continuous improvement sessions of the design team.
• Participation in the Learn From Experience for project closure.

Technical requirements:

• Cognition in SAP system.
• Cognition of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Outlook).
• Cognition in PMI, EEM, FEL methodology or similar.
• Cognition in mechanical drawings.
• Cognition in DTIs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Knowledge of ASME standards.
• Knowledge of Welding processes.
• Knowledge of HVAC.
• Knowledge of Machine Safety.

Tools:

Technical requirements:

• Cognition of engineering and process.
• Cognition of P&ID, isometrics, layouts, and construction drawings.
• Cognition of drawing in Autocad, Revit, and similar.
• Cognition of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• Cognition of 2D drawings.
• Cognition in Fluid Mechanics.
