Import Assistant - Appliance and Motorcycle Retail Conglomerate

We are GRUPO CARSA, a group specialized in the sale of appliances and motorcycles, with more than 110 stores nationwide with brands such as Carsa, El Gallo Más Gallo, Moto Go, and Marcimex. We are looking for an Import Assistant to ensure the correct management and follow-up of product import processes, contributing to the continuity of supply and compliance with the business's operational times.

What are we looking for?

• Technician or Bachelor in International Business, Foreign Trade, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related careers.
• Knowledge of import processes and foreign trade, customs documentation, and international logistics.
• Knowledge in VUCE. (Desirable).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in positions similar to imports, foreign trade, or international logistics.
• Desirable experience in retail companies, appliances, technology, mass consumption, or related sectors.
• Intermediate level English.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Perform integral follow-up of international purchase orders and import shipments.
• Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs, and logistics operators to ensure compliance with established times.
• Manage and validate import documentation (invoices, packing list, BL, certificates of origin, among others).
• Follow up on the nationalization process and arrival of merchandise, ensuring the timely availability of products.
• Register and update import information in the company's internal systems.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing, Commercial, Finance, Warehouse, and Distribution areas to ensure operational continuity.
• Report incidents in the import process and seek timely solutions with logistics operators.
• Management of reports and indicators according to the needs of the area.
• Comply with internal policies and current customs regulations.
