Embedded Software Developer - Mobile Protocols

Responsibilities and assignments

• Act in a modem team on a project for a world leader in smartphones, interacting with teams in different parts of the world;
• Act in updating Android versions, supporting the investigation, analysis, and adaptation of software for the smartphone modem, using mobile network communication protocol concepts (3G, 4G, 5G);
• Support the release process to meet requirements for mobile telephony operators worldwide, with extensive involvement in software validations.

Requirements and qualifications

• Higher education in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent;
• Experience with embedded software development in C/ C++;
• Experience with cellular network communication protocols (3G, 4G and evolutions);
• Desirable knowledge in LTE/LTE Advanced and SIP/IMS;
• Ability to debug code, fix flaws, and act in improving software stability;
• Knowledge of embedded systems in Linux/Android;
• Knowledge of development tools such as GIT and Jira;
• English for conversation, writing, and reading.
