Software Architect Person with focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Senior

PcDs are always welcome. We are looking for a Senior Software Architect specializing in Artificial Intelligence to lead the definition, evolution, and governance of robust architectures for solutions based on AI and LLMs. This person will be responsible for ensuring technical quality, scalability, security, and adherence to best practices, acting as a reference for multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities and assignments

• Lead the definition and evolution of software architecture for solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, including projects with LLMs
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure architectures, ensuring high performance and availability of applications
• Define standards, best practices, and technical guidelines for the development of AI solutions
• Act as a technical reference for multidisciplinary teams (engineering, data, AI, and product)
• Support the conception of end-to-end solutions, from data ingestion to the delivery of intelligent applications in production
• Ensure architecture governance, promoting consistency, quality, and adherence to defined guidelines
• Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and architectures suitable for the AI and LLMs ecosystem
• Guide the design of integrations with AI models (APIs, pipelines, and services)
• Act in the definition of scalability, cost, and performance strategies for AI-based solutions
• Promote best practices for security, privacy, and responsible use of AI
• Support and mentor developers and technical teams, raising the technical maturity level of the team

Requirements and qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas.
• Solid experience as a software architect or technical leader.
• Previous experience in projects with AI, machine learning, or data-intensive systems.
• Experience in defining distributed and cloud architectures.

Technical Knowledge

• Experience with generative AI and LLMs (NLP, embeddings, RAG, fine-tuning).
• Knowledge of data pipelines, MLOps, and model lifecycle.
• Security, privacy, and data and model governance practices.
• Performance evaluation (latency, cost, scalability) in AI solutions.
