AWS Tech Lead

Responsibilities and assignments

• Act as the main point of contact for the team with the client/partner, ensuring the alignment of project expectations and objectives;
• Lead cloud solution projects (AWS), ensuring scalability, security, and performance;
• Participate in architectural decisions, evaluating technical trade-offs and business impacts;
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects (scope, deadline, risks, and priorities);
• Manage backlog, roadmap, and sprint execution together with the team;
• Lead, develop, and mentor the technical team, promoting professional evolution;
• Ensure the technical quality of deliveries, adopting engineering best practices and code reviews;
• Promote continuous improvement in development processes (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD);
• Ensure technical governance, standardization, and compliance of solutions;
• Collaborate with stakeholders (business, product, and architecture) to align demands;
• Monitor performance, quality, and team productivity metrics;
• Ensure the efficient implementation and operation of AWS services in production.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed higher education in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related areas;
• Experience with project leadership, such as Tech Lead;
• Strong practical experience with AWS (services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, etc.);
• Knowledge in security, observability, and cloud best practices;
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and backlog/sprint management;
• Good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Fluent English, with good verbal, written, and reading communication;
• AWS and PMP certifications are differentials.
