Android development Internship

Responsibilities and assignments

• Support the development and maintenance of Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Implement lower complexity functionalities, with guidance and monitoring from the technical team.
• Collaborate with developers, quality analysts, clients, and leaders in understanding requirements and evolving solutions.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and in planning, monitoring, and review activities of deliveries.
• Support the identification and correction of bugs, contributing to the quality and stability of the applications.
• Develop and execute automated tests with guidance from the team.
• Participate in code reviews as part of the learning and technical development process.
• Study and apply programming best practices, version control, Android development, and the use of AI in the context of Software development.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Ciência da Computação, Engenharia de Computação, Sistemas de Informação, Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas or related areas.
• Basic knowledge of programming logic and object orientation.
• Academic or practical knowledge in Java or Kotlin.
• Interest in application development for the Android platform.
• Basic knowledge of Git or other version control tools.
• Intermediate English, mainly for reading, writing, and participating in conversations with the external partner.

Differentials:

• Academic or personal projects or participation in extension activities involving Android development.
• Basic knowledge of the Android SDK and the main components of an Android application.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration between applications and back-end services.
• Basic knowledge of agile methods, especially Scrum.
• Basic knowledge of automated tests and CI/CD processes.
• Participation in open source projects, technology events, programming marathons, or technical communities.
