Employee Engagement Specialist
About the Role
We arelooking for an experienced, hands-on HR People Partner to support our Singapore teamand other countries as needed. This role provides practical peoplesupport, advisesmanagers and employees on employee relations and HR policy matters, manageskey lifecycle processes, and helps ensure HR practices are consistent, compliant, culturallyrelevant, and aligned with company values and local requirements.
Based in Singapore, the role requires 3-4 office days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provideday-to-day people support and employee relations guidance to employees,managers, HRBPs, and leaders in Singapore and, as needed, across ASEANand Greater China, ensuring consistent application of HR policies, global frameworks,and local requirements.
- Partner with HROperations to ensurelifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation, transfers, mobility,contract or entity changes, regularization, and exits, are delivered consistently and inline with policy, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Manageemployee relations matters such as complaints, conduct concerns, performanceimprovement, investigations,conflict resolution, and sensitive cases, applying sound judgment and arisk-prevention mindset.
- Providerecommendations, coaching, and documentation guidance to resolve employeeissues while supporting fair, compliant, legally sound, and positive employeeexperiences.
- Provide HR policy guidance and partnerwith Legal and HR channels on high-risk matters to support compliant decisionsand reduce litigation, reputational, and organizational risk.
- Partnerwith regional and global HR teams on compliance, process improvement, ER governance,employee engagement, and culture initiatives that promote trust, inclusion,psychological safety, and consistent people practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration,or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of HR experience across employeerelations, HR operations, compliance, labour law, compensation and benefits, or blended HRroles in a complex, multi-country, or global organization.
- Strongknowledge of employeerelations, labour laws, HR compliance, employment requirements, HR policies,documentation standards, and risk considerations.
- Experiencein global, matrixed, multi-country, or technology organizations, with culturalawareness and ability to balance global consistency with local nuance.
- Experience with HR systems and processes, includingWorkday, ServiceNow, and ADP payroll processes.
- Strong communication, documentation, consultation, stakeholder management, analytical, judgment, confidentiality, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, with ability to use employee insights, engagement feedback, case trends, and HR data to identify risks and inform actions.
- Independent, flexible, collaborative, and able to build trust across levels, cultures, and teams as a credible resource on employee relations, compliance, engagement, and peoplematters.
- Willing to travel when required.
