LIBRARIAN

Based on the decision of the Director of Institut Ruđer Bošković, a J O B V A C A N C Y is announced to fill a vacant systematized job position.

1. Librarian position in the Library, Center for Scientific Information, Zagreb, 1 executor, for an indefinite period.

Requirements:

• university or professional graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study (EQF level 7.1 or 7.1.) in the field of information sciences with at least 60 ECTS credits from core library science content at the graduate level, or a library science study through which high professional qualifications were acquired in accordance with previously valid regulations
• acquired professional title of librarian in accordance with the regulation governing professional titles in the library profession, or the obligation to acquire the professional title of librarian within one year after completing a one-year work or internship period in librarian jobs, which includes the period of professional training in accordance with the provisions of the law regulating employment
• computer literacy
• knowledge of the English language in speech and writing.

The employment relationship is established with a probationary period of 6 months. Candidates who meet the competition requirements will be invited for testing and/or an interview.

The following must be submitted with the application: a CV (must include e-mail address and mobile number), a copy of the diploma or certificate of completed studies, and other documents proving fulfillment of the requirements from the competition.

In accordance with Article 13 of the Act on Gender Equality, persons of both sexes may apply for the competition.

Candidates who can exercise the right of preference in employment based on special regulations are obliged to refer to that right in the application, and in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions from the competition, they are obliged to submit all evidence prescribed by valid special regulations for exercising said right, in accordance with:

• Article 102 of the Act on Croatian Defenders of the Homeland War and their family members - evidence from Article 103 of the same act listed on the Ministry's link (https://branitelji.gov.hr/pristup-informacijama/zaposljavanje-u-drzavnoj-sluzbi/moglo-bi-vas-zanimati/908), and if the candidate was employed, proof of how their last employment relationship ended,

Applications for the competition, with the mandatory inclusion of the name of the job position to which the candidate is applying in the subject of the electronic message, are submitted within 15 days from the day of publication on the pages of the Croatian Employment Service to the e-mail address: natjecaji.pp@irb.hr.

Incomplete and untimely applications to the Competition will not be considered.

The results of the competition will be published within 8 days of the end of the competition on the website of Institut Ruđer Bošković (https://www.irb.hr/O-IRB-u/Obavijesti-o-ishodu-natjecajnog-postupka), and applicants to the competition will not be individually notified of the same. By publishing the results of the competition on the website, it is considered that all applicants have been informed of the outcome of the competition.
