Pastry Chef M/F - 2-month Fixed-Term Contract

About the company

As part of a temporary increase in activity related to the end-of-year holidays, we are looking for a Pastry Chef M/F on a 2-month fixed-term contract starting from December 1st, 2026, until January 31st, 2027, to join the teams of the Atelier Institut Lyfe, located in Lyon 7.

Your tasks

Your main missions are as follows:

• Master and ensure quality production and guarantee its preservation
• In connection with the Pastry Chef, contribute to the learning of students (operational support in the production of dishes and their quality)
• Participate in the development of technical sheets corresponding to the various dishes (with photos and protocols, material costs)
• Apply and ensure the application of hygiene and food safety rules (HACCP standards)
• Ensure the cleanliness of the spaces and your area, as well as the good condition of the equipment
• Communicate product needs for orders to your hierarchy.

This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to carry out cross-functional missions to contribute to the performance of the service.

Requirements

What if you were THE person we need?

You have a successful first experience in a similar position. You have a good knowledge of products and food hygiene rules. You are trained in current pastry techniques and enjoy teamwork. You have great interpersonal skills, you are dynamic, passionate, and pedagogical. You want to transmit your know-how to the students. Near-bilingual mastery of English is indispensable to succeed in this position.
