MEDIA EXECUTIVE
Your tasks
_What you will do_
- Planning support: Research audiences, media channels and competitors; help turn client briefs into clear media options, budgets and recommendations.
- Campaign delivery: Support media schedules, bookings, approvals, launch checklists, creative specifications and coordination with vendors and platform specialists.
- Budget and detail management: Prepare costings, track campaign expenditure, keep documents accurate and flag inconsistencies early.
- Performance and learning: Help monitor results, prepare reports and ask what the numbers mean — not just copy them into slides.
- Team collaboration: Work with account, creative and performance colleagues to connect campaign objectives with the right execution.
- Improvement and new ideas: Explore useful media developments, AI tools and more efficient ways of working, while checking the quality of the output.
- New business support: Assist with research and materials for proposals and pitches when needed.
Requirements
_About the role_ We are looking for a curious, organised and resourceful Media Executive who wants to understand not just how campaigns run, but why particular media choices make sense. You will support the team across digital, social and traditional media, from researching and planning through to campaign execution and reporting. You do not need to arrive as a media expert. We care more about how you think, learn, work with others and take responsibility for getting things done well.
_The kind of person we are looking for_
- Asks thoughtful questions, spots gaps and wants to understand the reasoning behind a recommendation.
- Is comfortable with numbers, budgets and spreadsheets, and pays attention to accuracy.
- Takes ownership of assigned work, follows through and raises issues before they become problems.
- Learns quickly, is open to feedback and is willing to try unfamiliar channels or tasks.
- Communicates clearly and works well with specialists and teammates — without needing to know everything.
_Background_ Fresh graduates and early-career applicants are welcome. A diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business or a related area is helpful, but we are open to other backgrounds. Prior agency or media buying experience is not required; basic spreadsheet skills and an interest in marketing and media are important.
