Software Developer Internship

About the Role: As a Software Developer Intern, you will work closely with experienced software engineers to design, develop, and maintain C# .NET-based desktop and service applications used in real semiconductor manufacturing environments. This role provides hands-on exposure to WPF desktop development, .NET Core services, and gRPC-based communication, as well as the practical use of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance C# .NET Core applications under the guidance of senior engineers
- Contribute to WPF desktop applications following MVVM design patterns
- Assist in developing and maintaining gRPC services for internal and inter-process communication
- Write unit tests and support integration testing activities
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues in development and test environments
- Use AI-assisted tools to assist with coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices
- Assist in preparing technical documentation and internal tools
- Gain exposure to industrial software systems and factory automation workflows
Qualifications: To qualify for this internship, you should have:
- Good familiarity with C# and .NET Core
- Basic experience with WPF and understanding of MVVM concepts
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. claude.ai, co-pilot etc)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Familiarity with Windows or Linux development environments.
- Familiarity with gRPC or RPC-based communication (academic or project experience is acceptable)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
