Repairs Commercial Manager

Local authority in Northamptonshire are currently looking for a repairs commercial manager to join their expanding repairs team.

Your tasks

Purpose of the role Working closely with the Repairs Management Team, Procurement Team and Finance Team the postholder will be responsible for managing all aspects of the commercial, contractual and financial aspects of the repairs business.

The postholder will also work closely with other key stakeholders to develop and control all repairs commercial activities across the departments (repairs and voids).

The role is hands-on and the postholder will be responsible for budget / cost management, CVR’s where applicable, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and compliant supply chain management.

The role also includes overseeing, assessing and certifying monthly contractor payment applications, invoice approvals and managing retention monies etc.

The role will drive commercial control, efficiencies and value for money across repairs.
