Missions

The biological techniques engineer selects and implements biological techniques within the framework of scientific projects for a research team at the CRCM (Marseille).

Main activities

• Conduct a set of techniques (cell culture, electrophoresis, immunological techniques, histological, genotyping, microscopy, cytometry), by adapting experimental conditions
• Analyze experimental results, guarantee quality (presentation of internal controls), and write experimental reports.

Associated activities

• Manage and organize technical resources within the framework of a scientific project
• Ensure the application of hygiene and safety principles and rules
• Ensure scientific and technological monitoring in their field of activity

Profile sought:

Knowledge

• Knowledge of immunology and oncology
• Knowledge of molecular biology and cell biology

Skills

• Autonomously use instruments dedicated to analysis and experimentation (notably microscopes, cytometers).

Aptitudes

• Rigor in work and scientific interest
• Use software dedicated to data processing (Excel, Prism, Flowjo).
• Good interpersonal skills
• English language
