REVENUE FINANCIAL MANAGER M/F

Description:

The recruited person will be responsible for ensuring the financial and accounting management of the establishment's revenue (financial management of different types of research contracts) within the external resources department composed of 5 people, under the responsibility of the head of financial services and the department coordinator. They will provide support to the team that manages an average of 850 research contracts.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Entry and monitoring of the execution of research contracts in the SIFAC+ (SAP) tool,
• Proceed with invoicing, prepare financial statements,
• Advise research teams in the execution of contracts,
• Drafting and validation of agreements and legal acts with funders
• Applying legislative, administrative, financial, and accounting procedures

Profile sought:

KNOWLEDGE

• General knowledge of accounting and financial management of public establishments
• Knowledge of the organization and functioning of EPST (Établissements Publics à caractère Scientifique et Technologique)
• General notions of contract law and public accounting rules would be a plus
• Good level of English, both written and spoken, indispensable for monitoring European Union contracts and certain American funders

SKILLS

• Mastery of Word and Excel software
• Ability to analyze regulatory texts, agreements, and contracts, including in English, as well as documents produced by funding bodies
• Ability to explain the establishment's operating rules to funders and research structures
• Ability to anticipate, organize, and prioritize activities according to priorities
• Ability to follow instructions and respect deadlines
• Ability to report and alert in case of malfunction in the processing of management operations
