POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER - M/F
Machine translation — original language: French.Show original
Description:
The recruited person will be tasked with developing Monte Carlo simulations using TOPAS, to simulate the interactions between radiotherapy X-rays and scintillating nanoparticles accumulated in tumors. The objective of these simulations is to study the energy deposition in and around the nanoscintillators during irradiation. These results will allow for the anticipation of the relative efficiency of the different radiotherapy effects induced by the nanoscintillators.
Monte Carlo simulations: definition of geometries and parameters to be extracted from simulations. Comparison of results obtained in simulation with experimental results. Presentation of results in written or oral form.
