ASSISTANT IN FINANCIAL AND ACCOUNTING MANAGEMENT (M/F)
Description:
Main missions:
Under the responsibility of the head of the financial department,
ENSURE the financial and budgetary management of own resources (research contracts, grants, service provisions, donations) in compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
ENSURE the implementation and monitoring of administrative and financial acts necessary for the management of research units.
Main operational activities:
ENSURE the financial management of research contracts, grants, service provisions, and other own resources.
DEVELOP, draft, and ensure the monitoring of administrative and financial acts (grant decisions, global management delegations, conventions, pricing decisions).
ISSUE revenue titles and ensure the monitoring of invoicing operations.
PROCEED with the notification of credits and ensure their monitoring.
ENSURE the financial implementation of research contracts and control their compliance in connection with the competent services.
ENSURE the financial management of colloquia and scientific events.
ENSURE the updating of databases and the filing of administrative and financial documents.
DRAFT notes, letters, and administrative documents necessary for the activity.
Main strategic activities:
PARTICIPATE in the monitoring of budget execution and contribute to the budget forecasts of the units.
PARTICIPATE in the monitoring of debt collection in connection with the accounting department.
ADVISE AND ACCOMPANY research units on financial and budgetary aspects.
PRODUCE dashboards, analyses, and monitoring tools.
ENSURE compliance with financial regulations and monitor their evolution.
PARTICIPATE in the control of the financial execution of contracts and the monitoring of the allocation of personnel expenses to the various funding sources.
Associated activities:
AUTOMATE certain recurring tasks to optimize financial management.
PARTICIPATE in working groups as needed.
Profile sought:
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the public budgetary, accounting, and financial framework.
General knowledge of financial regulations.
Knowledge of VAT rules.
Written and spoken knowledge of English.
Skills:
Mastery or ability to develop skills in a financial ERP such as SAP.
Mastery of public accounting techniques.
Mastery of office tools (Microsoft pack).

Working time: full time: 38h30.
Teleworking possible.
Duration: 7 months (3 months temporary assignments then 4 months CDD).
Remuneration:
Temporary assignments: 2197 euros/month.
CDD from 2,289.34€ up to 3,134.59€ depending on experience.
