Your Tasks:

• Development of advanced control functions for the continuous further development of gas engines for electricity and heat generation
• Implementation of new software functions and control algorithms from conception to final testing
• Carrying out dynamic system simulations for the integration of engines into power grids of various sizes
• Optimization of transient engine behavior both on the real product and in simulation
• International travel, especially for commissioning and validation in the USA
• Close cooperation with the development site in Jenbach as well as technical coordination with the Controls Design Team

Your Profile:

• Completed studies (PhD or Master) in control engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering; alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with relevant professional experience
• At least 8 years of experience in the field of control technology with a focus on internal combustion engines
• Confident handling of Matlab Simulink and profound application experience
• Sound knowledge in control theory, dynamic system modeling, and model-based development
• Business fluent English in spoken and written form
• Experience in creating technical documentation
• Willingness to learn structured, text-based PLC programming
