L1 Network Ops Engineer
Role Summary:
The L1 Network Ops Engineer will support the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and operational management of enterprise network infrastructure. The role will be responsible for maintaining network availability, supporting incident and change activities, performing troubleshooting, and assisting with network operations across customer environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Expertise with foundational network operations experience and exposure to enterprise networking technologies.
- Aruba and Cisco Switching
- Check Point Firewalls
- A10 Load Balancers (or equivalent ADC technologies)
- Network Monitoring and Incident Management
- VLANs, Subnetting, STP and 802.1X
- Routing Protocols (OSPF and BGP)
- DNS, DHCP and NAT
- Network Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
- ITSM Ticketing Tools and SLA-driven Support
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in network operations, NOC, or infrastructure support environments
- Hands-on exposure to Aruba and/or Cisco networking technologies
- Working knowledge of Check Point firewalls
- Exposure to load balancer technologies such as A10, F5, or NetScaler is advantageous
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, ACSA, CCSA, or ITIL Foundation are advantageous
