Mobile Developer

We are looking for a Mobile Developer for the development and maintenance of mobile applications (iOS and Android), in support of our products and services. The figure will be involved in the development of digital solutions connected to physical devices and will be part of the Vega R&D team.

Main responsibilities:

• develop and maintain native or cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android);
• translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions;
• collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, back-end, product);
• integrate apps with APIs, IoT systems, and back-end platforms;
• ensure performance, stability, and security of applications;
• debug, testing, and release on stores (Apple App Store and Google Play);
• contribute to continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies.

Main requirements:

• degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
• at least 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in industrial contexts;
• experience in mobile development (Android and/or iOS);
• knowledge of at least one among: Swift/Objective-C (iOS), Kotlin/Java (Android);
• familiarity with mobile SDKs and UI/UX development;
• experience with REST API integration;
• knowledge of versioning (Git);
• problem-solving attitude and attention to detail, with particular focus on code writing and technical documentation;
• ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other company functions;
• result orientation;
• technological curiosity and learning agility;
• good knowledge of the English language, necessary for collaborating with international teams and for technical documentation;
• availability for travel in Italy and abroad for short periods.

Nice to have:

• experience or knowledge of embedded/firmware systems;
• knowledge of communication protocols (for example: UART, CAN, etc.);
• experience in industrial contexts (for example: elevators, automation, IoT);
• previous experience in end-to-end development of web applications, with the ability to intervene autonomously on both business logic (backend) and user interface (frontend).

What we offer The compensation package will be determined based on the candidate's experience and skills, as well as the responsibility and scope of the role, applying objective and gender-neutral criteria. As a reference, for a position of this type, we offer a gross annual salary between € 28,000 and € 33,000. The position is regulated by the CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria.
