Marine Accounting & Operations Manager/AM (Dry Bulk Vessels)

We are looking for an experienced Marine Accounting & Operations Assistant/ Manager for an established shipowner to support the day-to-day operations and financial reporting of a portfolio of owned and chartered dry bulk vessels. The role will work closely with vessel operators, chartering and accounting teams to ensure accurate operational and financial information. The ideal candidate should have good working knowledge of IMOS, a strong understanding of marine accounting and accruals, and knowledge of dry bulk vessel operations and charterparties. Prior experience in dry bulk vessel operations is preferred. Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of owned and chartered dry bulk vessels. Prepare accurate and timely voyage P&L reports and coordinate monthly/quarterly accruals with the accounting team. Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of vessel operational data entered into the maritime ERP system (IMOS). Monitor and report daily operational cash flows, including hire statements, freight bills, demurrage/despatch, port disbursements, and other operating expenses. Monitor and report chartering exposures and vessel P&L through IMOS on a weekly basis. Work closely with operations, chartering, and accounting teams to resolve operational and financial discrepancies. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in marine accounting and accruals, with exposure to dry bulk vessel operations preferred. Good working knowledge of IMOS systems. Strong understanding of dry bulk vessel operations and charterparties. Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
