Our banquet team brings weddings, celebrations, meetings, conferences and special events to life. Shifts are based on our booked events, giving you the flexibility to pick up shifts around your school, another job or other commitments.

About Inn at the Forks Located at Winnipeg's historic Forks, Inn at the Forks offers a modern hotel experience with a contemporary restaurant, Riverstone Spa and beautiful event spaces. Your tasks

What You'll Do

  • Provide friendly, professional service to guests throughout their event
  • Set up banquet rooms, tables and service areas to event standards
  • Review event details and work closely with the Banquet Supervisor and team
  • Serve food and beverages and respond to guest requests
  • Clear and reset tables throughout the event
  • Help ensure each event runs smoothly from set-up to tear-down
  • Work as part of a team to create a positive guest experience

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Previous banquet or serving experience is an asset
  • Positive, hardworking and guest-focused attitude
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and friendly approach
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Banquet Serving: 1 year (required)
