At INHAUS, we are looking for a Junior Accounting and Tax Manager for an important company in full regional expansion in Panama.
Your impact in this role You will be responsible for comprehensively leading the Accounting, Tax, Administration, and Purchasing areas, ensuring correct accounting and tax management, efficient procurement, and continuous process improvement, under a Shared Services model that accompanies the organization's regional expansion.
Main responsibilities
- Define standards, accounting policies, and internal control strategies.
- Design and implement accounting operations under a Shared Services model.
- Guarantee comprehensive tax compliance (ITBMS, Income Tax, and payroll).
- Lead, develop, and supervise a team of 5 professionals.
- Manage the Purchasing and Administration area, guaranteeing the efficient supply of supplies, products, and services; lead negotiations with suppliers; define and monitor area KPIs; and strengthen its processes and controls.
- Drive digital transformation and automation through ERPs.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or related fields (Master's/MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in relevant positions for the role.
- Previous experience in multinational environments and Shared Services.
- Experience in comprehensive accounting management, automation, and process improvement.
- Team leadership and critical thinking.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP (SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of NIIF/IFRS, consolidation of financial statements, and KPIs.
- Experience in purchasing, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- English B2+.
